Public Performances

In offering its musicians a diversity of professional development opportunities, Live Music Now Scotland collaborates with partner organisations to put on public performances, enabling even more people to experience live music with relaxed and informal presentation.

Settings range from the magnificent galleries of the National Galleries of Scotland and National Museums Scotland, where concerts are free of charge, to prestigious festivals the length and breadth of the country, such as St Magnus International Festival in Orkney and Music at Paxton in the Scottish Borders.

Libraries, music clubs, theatres, concert halls, churches, open air stages, bandstands, courtyards and gardens are all typical places where Live Music Now Scotland public performances can be heard. This strand of our work not only brings live music to a wide audience but helps raise our profile and extend our reach.
