Kaitlin Ross and Catriona Hawksworth
Kaitlin Ross and Catriona Hawksworth form a Scottish traditional song and piano duo. They blend Kaitlin’s singing of traditional Gaelic and Scots songs with Catriona’s contemporary piano style, creating a unique sound. The duo began playing together in secondary school, meeting at the National Centre of Excellence in Traditional Music in Plockton and have loved learning and playing together ever since!
The pair love to perform classic songs for older audiences to join in with, and enjoy getting to play lots of fun musical games and songs for wee ones too.
Kaitlin and Catriona joined Live Music Now in 2019.
What They Play
We love the sing a long classics like Loch Lomond, Wild Mountain Thyme and Auld Lang Syne, as well as some more unusual Gaelic songs.
