Nikita Lukinov

Nikita Lukinov, a Glasgow-based pianist, studied at Voronezh's Central Music School for Gifted Children, London's Purcell School and the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland.

Heralded for “extraordinary breadth and freedom of imagination” (Gramophone), praised as “Exceptional talent” (The Scotsman), and being named the BBC Music Magazine “Rising Star”, Nikita Lukinov is one of the most exciting pianists of a younger generation residing in Scotland. In recent years he performed as a soloist in the United Kingdom, Italy, Spain, Switzerland, France, Poland, Croatia, Germany and Russia, appearing at Wigmore Hall, Usher Hall, Southbank Centre, Palau de la Música, Fazioli Hall, Verbier Festival and Tchaikovsky Conservatoire in Moscow.

January 2023 - Usher Hall in Edinburgh

April 2023 - Performed live for BBC Radio Scotland
Summer 2023 - Debut album "Kaleidoscope" received airplays on BBC 3, BBC Radio Scotland and Scala Radio

Nikita is extremely happy to be a part of Live Music Now Scotland, joining the Scheme in 2022, and believes that through LMNS he carries an important mission of sharing world-class music making outside major concert halls with those who would not have the access to it.
