Prismatic Winds

Prismatic Winds are a young and exciting wind quintet based in Glasgow. The members are all graduates of the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland where they were highly commended in the 2014 and 2016 RCS Governor’s Chamber Music Prizes. Working throughout Scotland, they have played at the Glasgow Royal Concert Hall, Holyrood Palace, and three times in the Southside Fringe Festival.

Keen on outreach work, the quintet has performed to the students of NYWES and have worked as associate tutors on NYOS Wind Ensemble Training Courses. In 2015 Prismatic Winds were invited to Stornoway to work with NYOS on a week-long project with local school pupils which was a resounding success.

Prismatic Winds joined Live Music Now in January 2018.
