The Tree O’Reeds

The Tree O’Reeds are a bassoon, clarinet and oboe trio who play in classical, baroque, traditional, jazz and klezmer genres. The trio, now located in Glasgow, have studied between Royal Conservatoire of Scotland, Royal Northern College of Music, Haute Ecole de Musique de Lausanne, Paris Conservatoire.

The group formed during the pandemic to keep playing chamber music with friends.
Interestingly, The Tree O’Reeds each carry out their own arrangements of traditional or orchestra/opera music to bring all styles of music to people, even with a smaller ensemble.

The Tree O’Reeds are excited to join Live Music Now Scotland as they want to share our passion and make music accessible to all. LMNS allows the trio to reach out to an audience who might not have the opportunity to experience music in a concert hall or might need a tailored experience to enjoy music. They are delighted to be part of this scheme to bring music to people in a variety of settings.
