Live Music Now Scotland & Music at Paxton: Sharing the Love of Music

LMNS is delighted to continue our inspiring and long-standing partnership with Music at Paxton, the celebrated chamber music festival set in the beautiful grounds of Paxton House in the Scottish Borders. Each year, our collaboration helps bring the joy of live performance to a wide range of audiences. This year’s programme offers a range of engaging performances by LMNS artists, from interactive family concerts and relaxed folk sessions to creative community engagement.

“As ever, we are delighted that talented LMNS musicians are playing a prominent role in our summer activity at Music at Paxton. Not only will they be sharing classical and folk music in our free pre-festival events, leading our Family Concert in June in Berwick-upon-Tweed, and featuring in concert at Paxton House in July, but they are also leading an important primary school project for us in Duns. Exciting times!”
Angus Smith, Artistic Director, Music at Paxton

Playing at Paxton

These events reflect our shared commitment to making high-quality live music more accessible to audiences of all ages and backgrounds. They also provide invaluable opportunities for LMNS musicians:

“Partnering with public festivals such as Music at Paxton is so valuable for Live Music Now Scotland, giving us the opportunity to boost the profiles of early-career musicians on public stages and extend their performance practice and artistic programming.”
Jude Anderson, CEO, Live Music Now Scotland

We’re proud and excited about this ongoing collaboration with Music at Paxton and Paxton House, and we were delighted to hear that our musicians share our enthusiasm.

“We’re always so excited to perform with LMNS, and can’t wait to share our music with the audience at Paxton House. We’ve wanted to perform here for quite some time! We’ll be performing a wide variety, from folk to film music, showcasing the sounds we love making with our instruments.”
