LMNS Joins Musical Mornings at The Green – Sharing Interactive Music Magic for Children of All Ages

Throughout the 2025/26 season, families can enjoy fun-filled and interactive concerts with fantastic LMNS musicians at Partickhill Bowling & Community Club. The series, which kicked off this week with a vibrant repertoire by pianist Adam Heron, features everything from singer-songwriters and fiddlers to harpists, percussionists, and traditional pipes. The performances offer a welcoming space for children of all ages and their grown-ups to share and discover the joy of live music.

Sharing Music with Families

Musical Mornings on the Green is an initiative by Sophie Rocks, an extraordinary harpist, community musician, and project manager — who is also part of Live Music Now Scotland’s cohort of musicians. LMNS is proud to partner on the children’s concerts and hopes Sophie inspires other musicians to start their own series. Lesly-Ann Smith, LMNS General Manager, says:

Sophie Rocks shares our commitment to bringing high-quality music to those who might not otherwise access it. As a promoter, she has built Music at the Green into a welcoming and inspiring space, and we’re delighted to partner with her to deliver engaging children’s concerts.”

Concerts that Engage

According to Sophie Rocks, Live Music Now Scotland has been a key part of the Music At The Green programme since it began in 2021. She continues:

LMNS musicians connect with the children in an interactive, engaging way and every performance is an absolute delight! Alongside brilliant, high-quality musical performances, LMNS artists always bring their warm personalities that are so suited to family performances, and make for a memorable experience for everyone attending.”
