Recently, three members of the Live Music Now Scotland team — Lesley-Ann, Katie and Malena — travelled to London for a truly memorable occasion: Together at Christmas, the annual carol service hosted by HRH The Princess of Wales at Westminster Abbey.
Now in its fifth year, the service is a heartfelt celebration of the people across the UK who strengthen their communities through compassion, creativity and quiet acts of kindness. Supported by The Royal Foundation, the event brought together a 1,600-strong congregation alongside Members of the Royal Family.
Stepping inside the Abbey, the evening blended traditional and modern elements. The world-renowned Abbey Choir led much-loved carols, while special guests offered readings and musical performances that reflected on the importance of love in all its forms: within families, through friendships and across communities.
For LMNS, being represented at such an occasion was both an honour and a meaningful reminder of why sharing music matters. Our work centres on connection — supporting people who may otherwise have limited access to high-quality live music, and championing emerging musicians who use their craft to uplift others.
LMNS Chief Executive, Jude Anderson, shared her reflections:
“HRH The Princess of Wales invited people who contribute to our communities to a celebratory event at Westminster Abbey. As Chief Exec, I was delighted to recognise and nominate three of our team for all their work bringing the therapeutic benefits of great live music to thousands of people across Scotland. They enjoyed a well-deserved evening of beautiful music, festive spirit and togetherness. Thank you to everyone who works to make Live Music Now Scotland a place that creates joy, wellbeing and connection.”
From all of us at Live Music Now Scotland, we wish you a warm and joyful festive season.

Our sincere thanks to HRH The Princess of Wales and The Royal Foundation for hosting such an uplifting and inspiring event.
