Volunteer

Got some time and want to be involved? Live Music Now Scotland welcomes volunteers who are keen to help us in our work.

There is a Scotland-wide Volunteer Network, members of which give practical support in situ, with everything from finding the off switch on the communal TV to helping venue staff complete evaluation forms on the impact of our work. Or perhaps you have specific skills and experiences we could use.

We are a flexible organisation and would aim to work around what you can offer. Please get in touch to let us know and we’ll take it from there.

Making a Difference...

How LMNS is providing music and opportunities for people across Scotland.

As part of a Creative Scotland Youth Music Initiative, LMNS worked with five local authorities to reach over 1,000 children and young people across Scotland.

Live Music Now Scotland celebrates its 40th Anniversary in 2024/25. “We wanted to celebrate in areas across Scotland, in settings which mean so much to us. These places are where the impact happens", says LMNS Director Carol Main.

A collaboration between Live Music Now Scotland and PRISMA resulted in a Mexico residency for LMNS traditional fiddler Roo Geddes.

I really wanted the piece to be interactive. I wanted the audience and the performers to enjoy it, and to give them something to take away.

We'd Love to Hear from You!

We are always happy to discuss new projects, opportunities or ways that we can help make music happen in your venue or community.
